DIY Fruit Face Packs:
Papaya, Honey and Lemon Face Pack
Ingredients:
½ cup mashed papaya pulp
1tbsp honey
½ tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Method:
Mix honey and lemon juice to papaya pulp.
Apply it as a layer on the face.
Keep it for 30 minutes.
Cleanse it with plain water.
How It works:
This face pack is highly effective for people having normal to dry skin. Papaya being rich in Vitamin A, C and E acts as a natural exfoliator, honey cleanses the pores and fights acne whereas lemon, on the other hand lightens and brightens the skin.
Banana, Berry and Milk Face Pack
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
4-5 mashed berry pulp
2-3 tbsp cold raw milk
Method:
Mash the ripe banana.
Add berry pulp and raw milk to it and blend it to a smooth paste.
Apply it evenly on the face.
Keep it on for 30 minutes.
Wash with lukewarm water.
How It Works:
Banana is extremely beneficial for hydration and tightening the skin. Berries on the other hand reduce wrinkles and the addition of milk reduces suntan and acne. This face pack is suitable for all skin types.
Tomato, Kiwi and Yogurt Face Pack
Ingredients:
1 tsp tomato pulp
1 tsp kiwi mashed
2-3 tbsp home made fresh yogurt
Method:
Squeeze the pulp from the tomato.
Add mashed kiwi and yogurt to the pulp and mix it well.
Apply it on the face.
Let it dry for 15-20 mins.
Wash with lukewarm water.
How It Works:
Tomatoes are loaded with Vitamin C. It prevents wrinkles, reduces irritation, fights acne and lightens the skin. Kiwi rich in vitamin E provides elasticity to the skin and reduces fine lines. The presence of lactic acid in yogurt removes dead skin cells and cleans and tightens the skin pores. This facemask is absolutely effective for people with sensitive skin to fight off acne and pimples and reduce signs of aging.
