In the latest post shared by the ‘Humans Of Bombay’ a popular page on Facebook, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that he used to go on a five-day hiatus during Diwali every year to reflect on his life.
In a 5-part interview shared by the popular blog post, the Prime Minister shared several interesting and meaningful insights in to his formative years, the life principles he abides by.
"Not many people know this, but I would go away for the five days of Diwali. Somewhere in a jungle - a place with only clean water and no people. I would pack enough food to last for those five days. There would be no radios or newspapers, and during that time, there was no TV or internet anyway," he said.
The Prime Minister further added that his mini vacation gives him an opportunity to reflect and provides him with necessary strength to handle life and its various experiences
He not only revealed his annual getaway location, but also shared a word of ‘advice’ to the youngsters today. “In the midst of your fast-paced life and busy schedules, take some time off...think and introspect. It will change your perception - you will understand your inner self better."
And the PM is right. Medical experts believe that taking a break from the job, routine and other daily tasks keep stress levels under check and builds up the stamina.
