Sauteed Maitake Mushrooms In Herbs

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of maitake mushrooms, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves 
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
  • Fresh parsley for garnishing

Method

  • Clean the maitake mushrooms gently with a damp cloth or a soft brush to remove any dirt
  • Heat the olive oil in  a pan
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about one minute
  • Add the maitake mushrooms to the pan. Stir well to coat them in the oil and garlic
  • Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms turn tender
