Ayurvedic Benefits Of Gokshuradi Guggul

Prevents Kidney Stones

Kidney stones a.k.a Nephrolithiasis or Renal calculi is the formation and accumulation of stones in the urinary bladder and urinary tract. Ayurveda denotes this as Mutrashmari, a condition that arises due to an imbalance of Vata and Kapha doshas in the body. Owing to the vitiation of these doshas, the urine flow or Mutravaha suffers obstruction (sanga) and ultimately leads to problems in micturition (the process of urination). Imbued with anti-lithiatic (scraping) property and Diuretic or Mutral property, Gokshuradi Guggul impedes the formation of kidney stones and helps to break or reduce the size of the formed ones and thus in turn prevents various underlying health constraints like polycystic kidney disease, kidney stones, and cystitis.

Treats Dysuria

Dysuria or painful micturition is not a health condition by itself but a symptom of urinary tract infection where an individual suffers from intense pain or difficulty and a burning sensation while urinating. An imbalance of the three doshas mainly (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) often causes painful micturition. The powerful anti-inflammatory and diuretic qualities of Gokshuradi Guggul improve urine production by breaking the stones in the urinary tract and thus provides relief from painful urination.

Remedies Gouty Arthritis

Medically, Gouty arthritis is a type of inflammatory arthritis which is chiefly characterized by an accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints. It is usually perceived by severe attacks of pain, discomfort, swelling, redness, and tenderness in one or more joints. Ayurveda specifies Gout as Vatarakta as it usually stems due to the vitiation of Vata Doshas and its effect (prabhab) falls on the Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue). The presence of Lekhaniya and Mutral properties of this formulation extensively helps to scourge the uric acid crystals from the joints thus providing relief from gouty arthritis.

Impedes Diabetic Nephropathy

Diabetic Nephropathy is a chronic condition wherein untreated or poorly controlled high blood sugar levels over a long time can cause damage to the blood vessel clusters in the kidneys that filter waste from the blood ultimately leading to high blood pressure and kidney damage. Enriched with powerful herbs that showcase diuretic properties, Gokshuradi Guggul restores proper blood flow to the kidneys and prevents proteinuria (the occurrence of proteins in the urine), all the while ensuring its nourishment and overall functioning.

Augments Male And Female Reproductive Health

The formulation is typically indicated for improving both women’s and men’s reproductive health. It is imbued with a powerful spermatogenic property that is exceptionally beneficial for treating asthenozoospermia (i.e. sperm motility), oligospermia (i.e. low sperm count), hypospermia (low volume of semen),  teratospermia (i.e. abnormal sperm shape) and enhances spermatogenesis (i.e. sperm production). The natural antioxidant property of Gokshuradi Guggul promotes the production of male hormones like testosterone and luteinizing hormone. It also helps deal with conditions like erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

In the case of females, Gokshuradi Guggul helps in treating endometriosis (i.e., the inflammation of the lining of the uterus) and maintains hormone levels within the blood, while also boosting the health of the female reproductive organs. The Shita (cold) and Kashaya (astringent) qualities of the herbs in use balance the vitiated Pitta Doshas and control heavy menstrual bleeding or menorrhagia. Prescribed usage of this formulation treats Shweta Pradara or leucorrhea and improves fertility. The formulation also enhances libido in both men and women.

Effect On The Doshas:

The wealth of natural ingredients in this magical formulation enhances its therapeutic importance as it effectively balances the Tridoshas. It pacifies the Vata (air) and Pitta (fire and air) doshas and balances the  Kapha (earth and water) doshas.
