Simhasana (Lion Pose)

Kneel and put your hands on your thighs. Open your mouth wide while jutting out your tongue forcefully downwards, towards the chin. While breathing through the mouth, generate a sound from down the throat that imitates the roar of a lion. Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Maintain this posture for as long as you are comfortable, take a break for a minute and repeat 5 times.

While maintaining the posture, ensure that you balance your body properly keeping your legs and spine straight. Hold the pose for 30-40 secs while inhaling and exhaling normally. Slowly bring down your legs back to the Shavasana pose, relax for a minute and repeat 2-3 times.

Trikonasana (Triangle Pose)

Stand upright while keeping your feet joined. Relax your arms hanging on either side of the body. Spread your legs apart gradually. Lift your left hand. Take a deep breath and bend towards your right and balance by keeping your right palm on the ground. Bend your head upwards and fix your gaze on the left-hand fingertips and count up to 20. Repeat the posture while bending towards the left. Take a minute of rest and continue the entire posture three more times on either side.
