Ingredients

2-3 tbsp freshly scraped aloe vera gel

1-2 bulbs of garlic

1-2 mini band-aids (depending upon the number of warts)

Method:

Crush the garlic cloves.

Mix the aloe vera gel with the garlic cloves.

Apply it on warts.

Secure the paste by putting a band-aid

Keep it on overnight.

How It Works:

Packed with malic acid, aloe vera is extremely useful in treating warts. The antiviral, antibacterial and antibiotic properties of both aloe vera and garlic not only help in drying up the wart skin but also kill the bacteria causing it. Apply this daily for 2-3 weeks to get rid of warts.

Baking Powder and Castor Oil Paste

Ingredients

1-2 tbsp baking powder

1-2 tsp of apple cider vinegar

1-2 drops of castor oil

Duct Tape

Method:

Mix all the ingredients into a thick paste.

Apply the paste on warts.

Cover it with duct tape on it to hold it in place.

Keep it on throughout the night.

How It Works:

The anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties of baking powder reduce pain and inflammation at the site of the wart. Apple cider vinegar being high on citric acid naturally dries and burns the excess grainy skin so that it falls off on its own. The addition of castor oil reduces the burning sensation afterwards. Use this paste daily till the wart falls off.

Lemon Juice and Tea Tree Oil Solution

Ingredients:

1 lemon

1-2 tsp tea tree oil

Water as required

Cotton balls

Method:

Squeeze the lemon to get fresh juice.

Add the tea tree oil and a teaspoon of water to it.

Dab the cotton ball into the solution and apply it directly on warts.

Add water to dilute the solution if required.

How It Works:

Lemon Juice being a powerhouse of citric acid possesses strong anti-microbial and antibacterial properties. It effectively dries the wart and helps to get rid of it. The addition of tea tree oil though causes a bit of irritation, in the beginning, is quite helpful in killing the virus and also providing a cooling sensation afterward.
