Ingredients:

2 tbsp virgin coconut oil

1 tbsp organic honey

2 tbsp brown sugar

Few drops of mint essential oil

1/2 tbsp lukewarm water

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Apply it on your lips and scrub them in a circular motion for 2-3 minutes.

Wash off with lukewarm water and apply some lip balm or vaseline.

Coffee And Vanilla Lip Scrub

Ingredients:

2 tbsp coffee grounds

1 tbsp honey

Few drops of vanilla essence

1 tbsp cocoa butter

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Gently scrub the paste into the lips in soft circular strokes.

Wash off with lukewarm water and apply some lip moisturiser.

How It Works:

Coffee grounds being softer than sugar granules are gentle on the lips but does the job of exfoliation pretty well. Cocoa butter is extremely beneficial in moisturising and nurturing the lips while honey being anti-bacterial in nature heals damaged skin. The addition of vanilla essence gives an aromatic latte flavour to the lip scrub.

Orange Peel And Strawberry Lip Scrub

Ingredients

2 tbsp dried orange peel particles

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp strawberry extract

Few drops of olive oil

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl till it becomes a rough paste.

Smear it all over your lips.

Scrub away the dead skin cells with circular strokes.

Wash off with cool water and follow with a lip balm.

How It Works:

Both dried orange peel particles and sugar granules naturally exfoliate the dead skin of the lips. Olive oil moisturises the lips and locks in moisture whereas the addition of strawberry extract to the lip scrub gives it a yummy bubble-gum flavour.
