Cures Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

In most women, the monthly menstrual cycle persists for 3-5 days, but in case the bleeding stretches beyond this, then this constraint is medically termed Menorrhagia. Also understood as Raktapradar in Ayurveda, it characterizes heavy menstrual bleeding. Again, when a woman bleeds or has another period flow at any time in between two normal menstrual cycles, then it is medically termed Metrorrhagia, a health condition in which the period repeats after 10-15 days of the previous cycle. According to Ayurvedic texts, both these menstrual anomalies are collectively known as Asrigdara or abnormal uterine bleeding and they primarily ensue due to a depreciated Pitta dosha within the body. Akik Bhasma having Sita (cold) and Kashaya (astringent) traits normalize the abnormal Pitta Doshas and manages both menorrhagia and metrorrhagia naturally.
