Associated with an anecdote of Ganjibar who had a daughter named Sundari who was as beautiful as her name and a warrior named Dulla Bhatti, the day brings forth a sense of celebration and the delicious anticipation of sweet treats. People circle the bonfire and throw ‘rewaris, groundnut, and popcorn kernels in the fire and wish each other and sing and dance till late night hours singing the song (Sundri Mundri hoye) to reminisce about the warrior and his beloved Sundari.
