Fusigen Ointment is a topical antibiotic that is used to manage impetigo (a weeping, crusty and swollen patch of skin). It is also used to manage infected dermatitis (inflammation of skin), spots, cuts, and grazes. It contains Sodium Fusidate as active ingredient.
Sodium fusidate works by killing the bacteria that are responsible for infections.
Apply Fusigen Ointment as advised by the doctor. It is only for external usage. Always wash your hands before using Fusigen Ointment. Apply the ointment to the affected area and rub the medicine gently on the skin. Avoid contact with your eyes. Wash your hands after using Fucidin ointment unless you are using the ointment to manage your hands. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women before using it.
