INTRODUCTION ABOUT DULCOFLEX TABLET

Dulcoflex Tablet is a laxative used to manage constipation. It is also used in preparation of diagnostic procedures, in pre- and postoperative management and in conditions which require bowels to be empty. It contains Bisacodyl as an active ingredient which regulates bowel function and helps in the easy passage of stool.

Bisacodyl stimulates the smooth muscle of the intestine which causes normal peristalsis (series of wave-like muscle contractions that move food through the digestive tract). It increases water in the colon and also stimulates certain nerves in the colon which stimulates the muscles resulting in bowel movements.

Take Dulcoflex Tablet as advised by your doctor. Take 1 tablet at night to have a bowel movement the following morning. It should be swallowed whole with an adequate amount of fluid and should not be crushed or chewed. Along with this tablet eat a balanced diet including fresh fruit and vegetables, drink enough water, keep up your exercise, make time to empty your bowels when your body tells you.
