INTRODUCTION ABOUT COSLYTE ORANGE POWDER

Coslyte Powder is an Oral Rehydrating Solution (ORS) which is used manage dehydration due to diarrhoea, dysentery, gastroenteritis, vomiting or while exercising in hot or humid weather and other conditions. Coslyte Powder contains Dextrose Anhydrous, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Citrate, and Sodium Chloride as active ingredients which help in restoring normal fluid balance in the body.

Dextrose Anhydrous (Commonly called glucose) is the primary ingredient of ORS. It enhances the absorption of salt, and water and provides metabolic energy. Sodium and Potassium Chloride replace the electrolytes lost due to diarrhoea and vomiting. Sodium citrate works by neutralizing excess acid in the blood and urine.

Take Coslyte Powder as directed by your doctor. It is for oral use only. Dissolve the contents of Coslyte Powder sachet in one glass (200ml) of previously boiled and cooled drinking water. Stir well until Coslyte Powder dissolves. Consume the reconstitution within 24 hours of preparation.

For infants and children, give 5-10 glasses over a period of 24 hours. For adults take 10-20 glasses over a period of 24 hours, or as advised by the doctor. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage of Coslyte Powder. Coslyte Powder should be used with caution in patient having renal impairment or intestinal obstruction.
