Actor Tiger Shroff says fitness, fluidity and fashion are the three mantras he lives by. The 28-year-old who takes his fitness seriously believes in working out to the body’s fullest potential and his fitness levels are not confined to just building six pack abs and biceps.

The well-trained martial art player known for his signature aerial kicks sticks diligently to his daily fitness routine rather than pumping the iron and hitting the gym.

The young actor and versatile dancer’s day starts with practicing his favourite martial arts and doing dance. “I go for weight training in the evenings. It gives me a high,” he revealed on many occasions.

Tiger Shroff credits his well-toned physique to barbell exercises, boxing and playing football. He strongly recommends barbell exercises to stay in shape and be fitter and boxing to develop body composition, cardiovascular health, eye-to-eye coordination and also to reduce stress. “Playing soccer helps in strengthening bones and building in strong muscles and calves.”

He is a self-confessed foodie but also a strict disciplinarian when it comes to food. “I decide on my diet depending on the characters I am playing in the films. Action roles want me to look in a certain way and I increase my intake of carbohydrates and protein to achieve that superhero look.”

So, does he have cheat days? The Baaghi 2 star loves his ice-creams, chocolates and has a sweet tooth. His cheat days are Sundays and on that he binges on all food, sweet and yummy!

His piece of advice for those hoping to get a body like him? “Take fitness seriously and make it a habit. Workout every single day and concentrate on each and every body part equally.” (IANS)
