Coconut Oil, Onion And Garlic Pack:
Ingredients:
¼ cup coconut oil
1 onion, chopped finely
5 garlic cloves, chopped finely
Method:
In a deep bottomed pan, boil onion, garlic on a low flame.
Cool the mixture and store it in a glass jar.
Massage this concoction on hair and scalp.
Wrap a hot wet towel around head for an hour.
Wash with a mild shampoo.
How It Works:
Onion juice and garlic are rich in enzyme catalase that help in reversing the greying, while coconut oil nourishes the roots. Do it regularly to get back the natural colour of hair.
Ridge Gourd Pack:
Ingredients:
1 ridge gourd, chopped finely
½ cup coconut oil
Method:
Dry ridge gourd pieces under sun, till they are completely dehydrated.
In a glass jar, pour coconut oil and soak these pieces for three days.
Boil these pieces along with oil for 10 minutes.
Strain the concoction into a glass jar.
Massage the oil thoroughly on the scalp, roots and leave it 45 minutes.
Wash it with mild shampoo.
How It Works:
This is one of the time-tested remedies and ridge gourd is known for its ability to restore the pigment cells in hair follicles, that reverses grey hair.
Amla Hair Pack:
1 tbsp amla powder
3 tsbp coconut oil
Method:
In a deep bottomed vessel, mix amla powder and coconut oil.
Keep stirring until it turns black. Let the oil cool.
Massage the mixture on the scalp and roots.
Leave it overnight. Wash with mild shampoo.
How It Works:
Amla is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that help in preserving melanin in hair follicles and providing hair with natural colour. Using this oil regularly slows down the process of greying.
