Say NO to burgers and pizzas, it is a threat to your liver.
A study reveals that consuming high-fat meal disrupts liver function. Food rich in saturated fats such as butter, fatty cheese, coconut oil etc, alters the working of the liver, setting the body up for a number of serious diseases. The consumption of such food has reported people with severe metabolic diseases such as fatty liver disease and cirrhosis.
The liver plays a major role in processing the fats and carbohydrates. In some cases, when excess fatty food is eaten, the fat gets accumulated in the liver and the condition is known as nonalcoholic fatty liver. This condition has affected 25% of the population in the United States.
Due to the accumulation of fat, the liver produces more amount of glucose than normal and therefore it drastically raises the blood sugar levels. This leads to the development of type 2 diabetes. As more amount of stress is created on the liver to process the fatty foods, many other liver complications arise.
Most people can overcome this condition and boost their liver. Consumption of healthy food which contains healthy fats such as olive oil can reduce the accumulation of fat in the body and can keep your liver healthy.
