Our feet are perhaps the most neglected part of the body, and many of us ignore taking a proper care of it. Feet carry the entire body weight, balance it and we don’t pay attention until we suffer from that niggling pain, spot those ugly cracked heels or dry skin.

Using scrub for feet

Try these simple, easy to make foot scrubs that relax the feet, sole and keep them glowing. 

Milk Scrub for Dry and Cracked Heels

Ingredients:

1 cup milk

500 ml warm water

3 tsps granulated sugar

2 tbsps baby oil

Pumice stone

Moisturiser 

Method

Mix milk with warm water in a tub and soak feet in it for 10 minutes.

Add baby oil, granulated sugar and make it into a thick paste. Massage it in circular motion on feet and heels.

Rub pumice stone on the heels for further exfoliation.

Rinse and pat dry. Apply a good moisturizer. 

Lemon Foot Scrub:

Ingredients:

100 gms granulated sugar

50 ml cold pressed coconut oil

6 to 8 drops essential lemon oil

Method

In a bowl, add granulated sugar and coconut oil, stir till it gets a smooth consistency.

Add essential lemon oil to the mixture and massage it generously on the feet.

Wash your feet and experience a refreshing feel. 

Baking Soda Foot Scrub:

Ingredients:

100 gms brown sugar

50 gms of baking soda

50 ml olive oil

Method

In a bowl, mix brown sugar, baking soda and olive oil in to a thick paste.

Rub it on the feet and massage generously for ten minutes.

Baking soda is the best remedy if have toenail fungus.

Wash your feet and pat dry.

Dab a good amount of moisturizer for that fresh feel.
