Ingredients

5 slice brown bread

2 tsp butter

2 clove garlic finely, chopped

1 chilli, slit

2 tbsp spring onion finely, chopped

½ onion, finely chopped

½ carrot, finely chopped

2 tbsp cabbage, finely chopped

2 tbsp capsicum, finely chopped

2 tomato, finely chopped

1 tsp chat masala

½ tsp garam masala

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp tomato sauce

Method

Cut 5 slices of bread into small square pieces and toast the bread until golden brown by adding little oil. Keep it aside.

In a pan heat 2 tsp butter, sauté garlic, spring onion and onion for a few seconds and add all vegetables, sauté well until cooked.

Now add chat masala, garam masala, salt and tomato sauce and mix well.

Add the toasted bread pieces and mix gently.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve bread masala with hot chai.

Bread Roll

Bread roll turns out to be yet another amazing evening time snack that is indeed filling. The bread rolls have paneer, peas and potato stuffing loved by kids and can satisfy their hunger pangs.

Ingredients

4 slices brown bread

2 tsp oil

1-inch ginger finely, chopped

2 cloves garlic finely, chopped

½ onion finely, chopped

½ cup peas, fresh

¼ cup paneer, shredded

2 medium sized potato, mashed

½ tsp kashmiri chili powder

¼ tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

½ tsp garam masala

½ tsp dry mango powder

2 tsp coriander leaves

2 tsp corn flour

½ cup bread crumbs

Oil for deep frying

Method

In a kadai, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger for a few minutes and then add onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.

Add cooked peas, paneer and mashed potato, sauté for few minutes.

Now add chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, dry mango powder and salt, mix well until the masala blends well with veggies.

Add coriander leaves and mix well. keep aside.

Now take bread slices and cut the sides.

Dip the bread slice into water just for a second and squeeze off the excess water.

Place the prepared stuffing and wrap the bread making sure to pinch the edges tightly. Make an oval shape dip in corn flour paste and coat it with bread crumbs.

Deep fry the prepared bread roll into hot oil in medium flame until it turns golden brown.

Serve hot bread rolls along with ketchup.
