Chitrak Haritaki Uses
Remedies Asthma
Asthma, also known as Swasa Roga in Ayurveda, is an inflammatory condition in which the airways to the lungs narrow and swell making it difficult to breathe and thus trigger coughing. According to Ayurveda, asthma usually occurs due to vitiations of Vata and Kapha. The vitiated ‘Vata’ combines with the deranged ‘Kapha dosha’ in the lungs causing obstruction in the respiratory passage and causing Swas Roga (asthma). Chitrak Haritaki imbued with powerful bronchodilatory qualities can help control the symptoms of asthma and provide relief in case of breathlessness. It balances the Kapha-Vata doshas and removes excess catarrh particles from the lungs and the windpipe thus providing relief from the various symptoms of asthma.

Being a powerful expectorant and bronchodilatory formulation, Chitrak Haritaki helps in removing excessive dryness and gradually helps in expelling mucus out of the respiratory tract.
