Dengue is a type of viral infection that is mostly caused by the viruses of DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4 category which belongs to the Flaviviridae family. It is an acute febrile fever with an incubation period of 2-7 days. The common signs and symptoms include high persistent fever, accompanied with pain behind the eyes, muscle, bone and joint pain, body ache, headache, and skin rashes with a red spot.
